Simmer Pots

Cinnamon Harvest Simmer Pot

Warm spice, bright orange, the deep note of star anise, autumn's house perfume.

Cinnamon stick simmered with orange peel, clove, and star anise, Cinnamon Harvest is the blend for the season's first real chill, when the sweaters come out of storage and the heat clicks on for real.

A seasonal favorite from late September through November. Simmer up to three hours. Smells the way an October afternoon should.

Ingredients

Cinnamon, orange, cloves & star anise.

How to use it.

Simple, slow, and worth the three hours. Like soup, the longer it goes, the better the house smells.

  1. Step 1

    Combine

Empty the contents of the pouch into a small saucepan or slow cooker.

  2. Step 2

    Cover with water

Add 2-3 cups of water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, just until you start to smell it.

  3. Step 3

    Simmer slow

Reduce to low and let it go for up to three hours. Top off with water as it evaporates. Enjoy the air.
